A 16hh 7 year old Bay gelding, that has exceptional breeding in the racing world. I believe his was bought as a 3 year old for about £46,000 and has probably won a considerable amount of money in his day. In 2008 for whatever reason his racing career came to an end and like most racehorses he was destined for a miserable life or even worse the slaughter house.

Masamiyr has come to me from the Midland Racehorse Care Centre MRCC as a lady saved him from going to slaughter but then realised he was not the horse for her and asked the MRCC to sell him for her or he was going to the auctions.

He is currently very underweight, has a lot of muscle wastage, he coat is dull and he generally looks sorry for himself. For an ex racer in his current condition this horse moves fantastic, he has a natural collected canter and has a good technique over a fence. My plan for this summer is to rehabilitate and retrain to help him reach his full potential as a riding horse.

I will be updating my website with progress reports of how he’s getting on so fingers crossed it all goes to plan and maybe we could be out doing some show jumping later in the year.
